As a Corporate Communications Manager in North West CDC, I am in charge of the strategic marketing, communications and public relations with the public domain and between inter-governmental agencies.Key Scope of Work:• Spearhead planning, developing and implementing the organisation’s marketing, media and corporate strategies• Craft press releases, speeches and all media related documents for Mayor, Advisers, General Manager and higher management• Develop and execute marketing strategies on various platforms (e-Newsletter, Social media, Website and Programme publicity)• Conceptualize and implement publicity campaigns and social media strategies• Collate, review and report on data analytics and publicity effectiveness to higher management and People’s Association headquarters.• Main point of contact in correspondence with local news agencies (Straits Times, Zaobao, Tamil Murasu, FM958 and other media affiliates)

My role in North West CDC encompasses 2 major portfolios. Firstly, I am the overall officer-in-charge of Nee Soon Group Representation Constituency (GRC). Secondly, 2 of the 6 North West Healthy Living Pillars, namely SwimSafer Club and Health Qigong Club are under my charge.Key Scope of Work:• Responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks and events associated with the successful management of the portfolio.• Solely organised and executed North West Health Qigong Gathering 2017 and organised North West SwimSafer Day 2017 with record breaking attendees. Events were covered by Suria, Tamil Murasu and Straits Time.• Review and coordinate public relations efforts alongside the Corporate Communications team to improve the branding and marketing of North West CDC.• Fronted major partnerships with established stakeholders such as National University of Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Turf Club.• Oversee and manage the procurement, budgeting, administrative and logistical matters of both projects.• Track the progress of the district's operations and clubs’ activities and provide regular updates to the North West CDC’s management team and Mayor.• Serve as the primary contact point for all inquiries and communications between North West CDC and the general public.
