Acquisition Analyst
CurrentI am tasked with driving the success of our portfolio by expertly sourcing, evaluating, and underwriting large multifamily value-add and newly developed assets. Through my comprehensive analysis, I determine the financial feasibility of these assets and play a crucial role in the decision-making process for our investments. I am responsible for determining the initial capital expenditures & value-add budget, identifying comparable properties for comp rents and sales comps, and evaluating different financing structures for new and existing assets. Additionally, I prepare presentations and backup support for meetings with senior executives and develop and present business reviews covering financial metrics including performance against stated objectives. My role also involves obtaining relevant market and submarket data for properties and tracking existing market deals and fundamentals to stay informed of market developments and identify new opportunities and trends. Furthermore, I develop and maintain relationships with those involved in the multifamily industry, such as brokers, sellers, buyers, property managers, and more. Creating those relationships aid in my ability to source off-market assets for our company to acquire.
