Provided technical advice on complex legislation and government processes to inform documents that protected the State’s interests. • Nurtured the real estate transition from one service provider to another by establishing relationships with the new service provider, utilising extensive commercial negotiation and new partnership building skills.• Contributed to the success of large-scale leasing transactions in the Melbourne CBD and regional Victoria through property advisory and maintaining a clear strategic direction.• Key driver in the standardisation of documentation and processes to ensure the interests of the Minister of Finance (now the Assistant Treasurer) were protected whilst adhering to Government policies. Joined Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) as one of two successful applicants in a highly contested traineeship program, working across multiple teams within the organisation and gaining exposure to the Victorian property market across a variety of property and asset types. Following my successful completion of the traineeship program, I spent the majority of my tenure at VGV as a Valuer / Senior Valuer, specialising in acquisition and compensation valuations and working on major transport projects. I also undertook a significant number of commercial rental valuations and provided strategic advice to the State's commercial portfolio managers at the Department of Treasury and Finance. Throughout my time at VGV I was able to obtain several opportunities to act in management roles for short periods of time, responsible for leading teams of property professionals undertaking complex valuations, whilst managing stakeholder relationship and contract management requirements.
