Els de Schepper graduated at Studio Herman Teirlinck in 1990 with the highest degree possible. She started her television career in 1991 as a panel member of the consumer program “Raar maar waar” and in the popular tv-show“Kriebels”, and as an actress in the weekly series “Wittekerke" on VTM. She presented the game-show ”Kinderpraat” a show for for children and adults. In addition, she was also the host in “De plaatgast”, a show about music and celebrities, from 2001 on. Her biggest passion, however, lies in the theatre. Since 1993 she launches a new one woman show every two years in the cultural centers and large halls in Flanders. She has written and produced 15 one-woman-shows. From September 2024 on she starts her 15th one-woman-show/talkshow: WAT DOE IK HIER? With her “Super-vrouw” ( superwoman) tour she had over 80.000 visitors. This “Super-vrouw” tour made her the fastest and best-selling Flemish Cabaretière .With “Els de Schepper Roddelt” ( “Els de Schepper Gossips”) she was the first woman ever in Belgium to play a one woman show for a sold-out Lotto Arena in Antwerp, with an audience of 5000 people per show. Els has sold out the Lotto Arena over six times with her extremely popular one woman shows. Beyond cabaret, Els is no stranger to playing dramatic roles. In 2015, she starred in the international epic theater production: "War Horse". In October 201 till May 2016, she was playing the lead role as well as directing “Piaf, the musical" which was extremely well received throughout Holland and Belgium, both by press and audiences.

En ze wil u ook aansteken!Maar dat doet ze niet alleen. Ze krijgt hulp van de ondertussen legendarische “Rita uit Gent” , die deze keer haar immer optimistische maar totaal politieke incorrecte vriend “de Vettige Nonkel” meebrengt. “Klein Elske” weet met haar kinderlijke naïviteit alle harten te smelten. Bovendien is er de deurenkomedie “Els is om zeep!” waarbij de voltallige alter ego-cast tot hun grote paniek te horen krijgt dat het testament van Els verloren gelegd werd. Wat nu? Is Els écht wel om zeep of niet? Een whodunit in zuivere slapstickstijl!Denk dus maar niet dat je triest de zaal zal verlaten. Integendeel.
