My name is Ricardo and I’m from Portugal. I would describe myself as a visual and creative communicator, with front-end development being my main focus. I’m a dedicated self-learner, and I'm always looking for challenges. Because the Internet changes every day, I'm constantly updating my knowledge of web design. I have a Master’s Degree in Graphic Communication (2007) and +14 years experience in web development and web design. I love to work in teams in order to come up with the best possible solution for every challenge.Furthermore, I really enjoy studying and understanding the user's behaviour in order to improve a product and achieve success.As a front-end developer, it's often necessary to become the "bridge" between back-end developers and designers/marketing people. Understanding the needs of both parties and mediating between the two is something I find challenging and satisfying.Learning something new every day is what keeps me focused and motivated. Stuff like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design, Sass is an everyday task.
