My name is Ricardo and I’m from Portugal. I would describe myself as a visual and creative communicator, with front-end development being my main focus. I’m a dedicated self-learner, and I'm always looking for challenges. Because the Internet changes every day, I'm constantly updating my knowledge of web design. I have a Master’s Degree in Graphic Communication (2007) and +14 years experience in web development and web design. I love to work in teams in order to come up with the best possible solution for every challenge.Furthermore, I really enjoy studying and understanding the user's behaviour in order to improve a product and achieve success.As a front-end developer, it's often necessary to become the "bridge" between back-end developers and designers/marketing people. Understanding the needs of both parties and mediating between the two is something I find challenging and satisfying.Learning something new every day is what keeps me focused and motivated. Stuff like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design, Sass is an everyday task. The key point is being updated.Beside all this to achieve my life balance, I'm an amateur musician and I like sports, cinema and photography.
