They assist the IT manager with the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs to ensure that all team members can do their jobs as effectively and efficiently as possible.What Success Looks Like: 99.99% uptime for essential systems such as internet/wifi connectivity, VPN, telephony, and mission critical servers.Maintaining 100% compliance with security auditsProactively recommending additional security measures to keep pace with current threatsMaintaining a regularly audited system for backups, disaster recovery, and securitySmoothly functioning shared IT systems such as conference room connectivityAn active and functional system to replace aging systems and equipmentPositive reviews from peers on new system rollout and ticket responseResponsibilities:Fast response to tickets with a focus on keeping impacted parties updated on progress and timelines.Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardwareOn-call availability to respond to system failuresRun regular checks on network and data securityPreserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structuresTrack and maintain hardware and software inventoryAuditing of domain names and security certificates
