The Integrated Protein Research and Development Center (IPRDC) aspires to become a robust manufacturer of proteins at a commercial scale which will facilitate and enable the growth of the Philippine biotechnology sector. The overall goal of IPRDC Project 2 is to demonstrate the scale-up of recombinant protein production to significant levels while maintaining its quality. This internship is in partnership with the Ateneo Research Institute of Science and Technology (ARISE) and IPRDC Project 1 - Biochemistry.

HELIX is the official publication of the Ateneo Biological Organization (BOx) which strives to engage its community of readers in scientific concepts, issues, and developments relevant to BOx’s advocacies and trends in society. Curated and gathered information regarding latest scientific discoveries and trends for This Month in Biology, a bi-monthly project under the Research Division of HELIX. Interviewed relevant professionals and compiled content for the bi-monthly features of Humans in BOX.

Served as the main coordinator and point-person for all logistical concerns of the onsite week-long event for the organization's Tambay Week, catering to 150 members per day. Coordinated with offices to secure venue permits and spearheaded the procurement of necessary materials.

Assisted in the planning, preparation, and execution of internal events. Pitched project proposals and provided manpower.

Spearheaded and oversaw the creation and compiling of monthly newsletter content for a centralized dissemination of information across 54 accredited student organizations in the Ateneo. Monitored the progress of tasks and ensured adherence to project timeline and deliverables.

Managed and maintained effective organization and safe-keeping of documents and files. Delegated as a secretariat in community and organization-wide projects to assist in administrative task and record-keeping.

Provided assistance in managing the necessary paperworks and creation of materials for the school-wide event. Served as a liaison for participating organizations. Managed the event registration and helpdesk support during onsite operations.

Deployed to the cluster to manage administrative tasks. Organized the files and documents, transcribed minutes of meetings, and created a system for tracking member availability for more efficient scheduling.

Spearheaded the planning and ensured success in the execution of the project. Oversaw the core team deliverables and interviewed professionals in various scientific fields for the creation of a three-part video series for public-viewing.

Served as the main point-person for interdepartmental concerns within the organization as part of the Executive and Central Board. Managed the flagship projects of the department and coordinated with other departments for productive collaboration.
