Desiree was a CFP qualified Financial Planner for over 20 years’ in the Financial Planning industry. After being diagnosed with a Rare form of incurable cancer in December 2009, Desiree was left with little support from existing cancer support groups or the medical profession as so little was known about her cancer.After completing more than 56 operations/procedures and 71 treatments, Desiree's passion to help others became her main focus. Her loneliness and isolation through since her own diagnose was so overwhelming at a time where support is critical, that she decided to ensure, no one else would ever have to endure the same experience.Establishing, Without A Ribbon Incorporated became her purpose. A charitable organisation focussing on supporting those with Rare Cancers. Rare Cancers that we know get little to no support, while going through their journey.Never one to stop, as a Co-Founder of Coco Kaboo, a business that creates all natural treatment oils and deoderisers for dogs, she enjoys the difference she can make to furbabies and their families with her little bottles of liquid gold.
