Technical Documentation Writer | Document Control Coordinator, Quality Assurance
CurrentAs a member of the Quality Assurance department, I collaborate with subject matter experts to write technical documentation in a variety of formats for the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems manufactured by ASI. These conveyors are manufactured to serve airport baggage handling systems, automotive manufacturing plants, and industrial manufacturing settings. I apply my writing, business, and creative expertise to:-write maintenance manuals and one-page maintenance reference sheets using Word and Excel.-manage the document control workflow for company operating procedures, work instructions, electronic forms, and other documents used for company operations. Review and edit such documents for continuity, current practice, content, and formatting. -use photos, ACAD, Inventor, Adobe Photoshop, and Visio to create graphics that support key points within documentation.-analyze and edit documents to maintain continuity of style and content.-update and revise existing technical literature including company operating procedures and work instructions.-develop, create, script, and produce presentation materials and instructional videos in PowerPoint for interdepartmental use.-train to provide auditing support to the Quality Assurance Manager.-act as Document Control Coordinator.
