When my first child turned 21, I gave him this advice:Work hard. There is great value in hard work. It teaches us perseverance, persistence, and determination. It teaches us to push through when times are tough. The value of hard work cannot be underestimated.Always try to do the right thing. Don't belittle yourself by stooping to the level that others do. You know the difference between wrong and right. Make the right choice. Your integrity depends on it.PEOPLE are the most important thing. It’s ALL personal, not business. You aren't in a Michael Douglas movie, and, like they say… It's all about relationships.Not everything in life is easy. Working hard and earning the respect of others establishes the foundation for success. Don't go through life with your hand out, waiting on someone to give you something. Work for it, and earn the respect of your colleagues and peers. Make sure they understand that you respect them too.
