With the changing landscape of advertising and film, KTV was formed. This was a platform for me to work on other modes and forms of film and ad work whilst continuing to shoot traditional commercial work. I have never been afraid to embark on new things and live by the adage to do something that scares me everyday. Spent time here working, learning and being a student again. All within an agency framework and shot lots of crazy fun stuff with some amazingly talented folks (Actually one of the most awarded creatives in Singapore). It was inspiring and non-traditional. It challenged me in so many ways and certainly allowed me to view what I do further up the chain.Having insight from the inside of a multi-awarded agency was both humbling and I really got to experience what it meant to do great work.

Absolutely love teaching! I did some guest lecturing over the years at LaSalle College of the Arts as well as at the Singapore Media Academy. Great experiences. As much as I give of myself, I also take in by re-learning the fundamentals and being inspired all over again by the students.

Started a new production company with the Executive Producer as Creative Partner while simultaneously kick starting my directing career. With lots of hard work and a potful of luck, I went on to win best new director at the Creative Circle Awards (CCA) in the first year. Which gave me lots of fuel to keep doing the do. As Creative Partner, I recruited other amazingly talented directors along the way and helped chart the direction of the company. Fresh out of school and just wanted to work in film. I didn't care where or in what capacity. Ended up working with some of the best producers, directors and DP’s in the industry. Learnt a whole lot and got scolded a fair bit. Was also told to throw whatever I had learnt in school out the window and start over again. Started out looking for a forest. One with a small stream running through it. With dense foliage. But not too much. Oh and I almost died twice in a day. True story… Show more Fresh out of school and just wanted to work in film.
