My interest in Industrial-Organizational Psychology started during my undergraduate enrollment at Mississippi State University. While searching for an exciting career of which I could use psychology to enhance the everyday experience of others, I was fortunate to experience aspects found along this pathway through coursework, internships, and leadership positions. Through these experiences I was able to grasp important concepts of recruitment and leadership development and I am thankful for each opportunity that helped me find my dream career. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology in one of the nation’s top ranking programs at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. This curriculum has prepared me to use scientifically based methods to address various organizational issues. Throughout my time in this program, I have learned to incorporate both theoretical knowledge and data analytics to consider an organizational issue, while applying solutions using appropriate business setting terminology. My goal is to facilitate the best workplace practices, and by doing so to improve organizational performance, so that all associated with the organization can be proud of the company they represent. I look forward to connecting with you and reaching this outcome together.
