I am a first-generation college graduate who is passionate about access to equitable education. I have over ten years of classroom experience, most of which has been focused on elementary mathematics and literacy instruction. Knowing the power of quality education firsthand, it has been my life’s mission to ensure that students have access to an excellent education. With this, I have become a high-performing teacher, yielding high-performing students with diverse backgrounds. I have spent my years finding, developing, and implementing resources that enhance and complement curriculum in the classroom. With the mindful use of formative assessments, I have consistently utilized data to drive instructional decisions in my classroom, which has lead to incredible growth in my students, specifically in the areas of mathematics and English language arts. I am a strong believer that excellent educators and quality resources can pave a pathway of opportunity and success for all students.
