I left home for US Air Force Basic Military Training less than a month after Operation Iraqi Freedom began in March 2003. Between that date and my retirement in May 2023, I visited places I used to see only on postcards and built friendships with wonderful people who inspire and challenge me.Professionally, I am a people-centric Calibration Laboratory Manager specializing in Quality System Management with comprehensive experience designing, assessing, and improving products and processes that advance world class organizations. I am well versed in root cause and trend analysis, process improvement, error-proofing, and teaching.I have a passion for developing individuals and teams, personally and professionally. I enjoy helping them understand work processes, find fulfillment in their organization, build a sense of camaraderie, and realize long term vision.Personally, I am a husband of 14 years and a father to 4 great kids who I am intensely proud of. Our house is busy, sometimes crazy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.I am incredibly grateful for the 20 years I spent with the US Air Force but I am thrilled to start my next chapter in the private sector and to give my family a place to call home for more than a couple years at a time.I am looking for the right opportunity to help an organization identify and analyze problems, and then create solutions that increase product quality, reduce costs, and exceed customer expectations.
