I am currently working at Loggerhead Apparels as a marketing manager. I look after all marketing details for the company. Here I am also involved in the sourcing of fabric and inventory management for the company.

During my internship, I investigated the impact of COVID-19 on Raiyani Overseas, understanding how the crisis had significantly disrupted the industry even before government aid became available. I analysed changes in distribution, delivery, and production patterns, and tracked the challenges faced by the workforce. I deciphered the strategies employed before and after the pandemic's onset and gained insights into how the company navigated through these turbulent times.I successfully applied my knowledge about commodity markets, selling principles, and organisational ethics, which I had acquired at my institute. I carried out comprehensive market research and appreciated the importance of a systematic approach in an office setting.The internship also offered me a wealth of new skills and knowledge. I learned to prioritise my responsibilities, manage my time effectively, and present myself professionally. I gained insights into consumer behaviour, market operations, and the overall economy. My skills extended to engaging with local merchants, understanding distribution routes, identifying and sourcing raw materials, and inspecting product quality. I also familiarized myself with different textiles available in the market and learned to identify and rectify website errors.Beyond that, I grasped the nuances of commodity trading, recognised key product parameters, and gained basic banking knowledge. I learned how to use accounting software, understood the documentation required for exporting a product, and became proficient in conducting RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS transactions. My learnings also extended to understanding how product samples are showcased to the buyer and how a batch of goods gets approved. Overall, the internship provided me with a comprehensive learning experience, offering practical insights into various facets of the industry.

I also got the opportunity to comprehend the organizational system and acknowledge the role of ethics in a business setting.I acquired a host of new skills and expanded my knowledge base. I learned to prioritize my tasks and manage my time efficiently, adapted to remote working conditions, and gained a deeper understanding of market operations and consumer behavior. I honed my abilities in product promotion strategies and engaging with local merchants. I realized the importance of after-sales services and understood the distribution routes. My learning curve extended to include insights into quality assurance processes, fabric selection, and online marketing strategies. I got an in-depth understanding of how digital retailers operate and the essentials of maintaining social media accounts. In essence, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the clothing industry, from raw material sourcing to ensuring consumer satisfaction, including all the steps in between.

During my internship at Navjeevan Trust, Rajkot, I engaged in a series of multifaceted tasks which fostered my personal and professional development. I honed my oratory skills and expanded my audience reach by expressing my opinions publicly. I performed online data entry of Balmandals, enhancing my attention to detail. Interacting with children aged between 5-15 years for talent sourcing refined my communication skills and emotional intelligence. I learnt about the complexities of social media management from mentors managing a large Facebook group. My outspoken nature encouraged spontaneity and initiative, bolstering my self-belief and confidence. Finally, despite the physical distance, I effectively collaborated with the team, teaching me about the essence of teamwork and team spirit.
