CurrentAs a full stack engineer at GeoClerk - Searcher Seismic, the primary functions for this role are: • Collaborate on product development, contributing to the full software development lifecycle• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing solutions. • Conduct exploratory data analysis to derive insights and inform development decisions. • Gather and define requirements for new features and functionality. • Write and maintain comprehensive test suites for software quality assurance. • Identify and troubleshoot software bugs and issues, providing timely resolutions. • Participate in product management activities, including roadmap planning and prioritization. • Optimize and fine-tune software for improved performance and scalability. • Implement geospatial data processing and visualization features. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software aligns with project goals and timelines. • Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing. • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in geospatial and data engineering. • Collaborate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards. • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve customer and technical issues. • Monitor software platforms for load, performance, usage, security concerns and failures. • Build knowledge base of support issues, resolutions, and root cause analyses. • Maintain system documentation to ensure that maintenance and support issues can be efficiently addressed.• Verify fixes provided by development team prior to deployment. • Build repository of test data that reveals software defects or interesting test cases. • Write automated integration test cases for existing and new software components to verify software quality.
