Performing FEA in ANSYS to evaluate spar and rib configurations to achieve flight stability by minimizing wing deformation. Designing mechanical systems for quick pylon attachment with minimal points of failure to carry fuel tanks using solidworks. Manufactured different aircarft components using various machining tools: 3DP, CNC milling.

Developing a competitive UAV for the AIAA DBF contest, simulating aircraft performance using SIMNET and QGroundControl to optimize mission scores. Evaluating configurations and conducting sensitivity studies to refine strategy—ranked 15th globally and 1st in New England.

Helped organize a 36 hour Hardware & software hackathon at UMass Amherst hosting more than 700 participants and delivered workshops on ROS2 integration with robotic systems and intro to CAD. Collaborated with makerspaces at UMass to open access to different hardware tools to participants such as 3D printers, wood cutting tools for participants. Managed and maintained a list of all the hardware components used by participants.

Designed and tested advanced robotic SPMs for warehouse and security applications, optimizing efficiency and cutting costs. Simulated movements and validated designs using SolidWorks and MATLAB for streamlined manufacturing.

Gained hands-on experience in manufacturing industrial measuring devices while deepening knowledge in IoT systems, process automation, and industrial robotics.

Organised CodeDay Pune, a hackathon serving underrepresented communities in CS. Managed a team of 20 volunteers and led outreach and operations. Delivered beginner-friendly Python workshops to 70+ attendees.
