I got increasingly involved in strategic business projects and planning, and with each day, I got to do something different and challenging than the day before. It ranged anything from redefining order forecasts to breaking existing molds of AOV planning. It ranged from training new-hires in system to establishing best practises on on-boarding. Though the hours were fewer, the nature of my responsibilities went up a notch as I gained experience, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. A memorable moment came about when I was offered a permanent contract while working only part-time and still being a student. The business grew at an incredible pace, which made for a very solid and versatile foundation as far as FP&A knowledge and practise was concerned.
