Synaps provides identity verification solutions from Personhood validation to regulated KYC/AML and KYB processes. As a meticulous KYC/AML Analyst, I play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering top-notch identity verification solutions for our clients. My responsibilities encompass conducting thorough ID, proof of address, and face match verifications for our clients' new users. My role also includes identifying and rejecting duplicate users, which are users trying to create a second account by using a different ID.Lastly, I undertake thorough AML verifications to ensure that our clients' new users are not politically affiliated individuals, have not been filled a case against them, never committed a crime or fraud, and never received any type of sanctions.Consequently, my role at Synaps helps to enhance the integrity of our clients' user database and systems.

With my background and experience in marketing, I was in charge of marketing operations when I joined the company. Daily creation and publication of posts for Facebook and Instagram, as well as boosting posts to reach a higher audience was my responsibility. Being in charge of the customer relationship headed me to interact with followers' via all common social networking platforms, and enabled the company to increase online sales. Through my fast learning, I was able to work as a salesman when the company expanded by opening its third shop. Processing credit applications of products with the country’s two biggest credit facility firms was one of my assignments. I created and managed the entire product inventory and I was monthly entering the sales turnover in the company’s internal system.

I gained a lot of knowledge in the digital marketing field during my two-month internship at EdVentr. I was creating content on platforms such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop in order to post on Facebook and Instagram after approval from higher management. I was also assisting in managing social media pages on both Facebook and Instagram by running ads and boosting posts to reach more people. I created all sorts of posts: offers, promotions, giveaways, and vouchers.

I was in the courier department. I acquired a lot of knowledge in the process from the moment a parcel lands in Mauritius to the moment it is delivered to the final customer. I assisted customs officers during parcel clearance, created parcels’ notice of arrivals and invoices, helped during the despatch of parcels that needed to be delivered, and entered parcels’ proof of delivery daily into the internal system of the company. Through my fast learning, I was able to answer clients’ calls and reply to emails.
