Current• Responsible for performing evaluations, establishing treatment plans and goals, identifying durable medical equipment needs, and participating in discharge planning for patients across a variety of acute care settings, including progressive care and stroke, cardiac intensive care, cardiac and medical telemetry, oncology, and orthopedic/surgical.• Spearhead development of post-operative protocols for spinal surgeries as part of a spine team. Assisted in selecting appropriate spinal orthotics for in-house bracing and performed in-service presentations to ensure intra-departmental competency and compliance. Created and maintain data sets to track ongoing bracing trends for 6+ MDs.• Coordinate with registered nurses, case managers, physicians, and other rehabilitation team members to ensure continuity of care. • Manage department scheduling for 30+ inpatient rehab staff members.
