Junior Events Coordinator, UMass Amherst Indian Student Union: Plan, organize, and execute events to celebrate and promote Indian culture on campus. In addition to working alongside lead event planners to ensure the event runs smoothly, I help with vendor check-in, venue setup, liaising with entertainment and/or special guests, and logistical coordination. I also pitch in with marketing and outreach processes to involve students, attract people to to events, and cultivate community. In this position, I am honing my event organizing, formal writing, and collaboration skills, as well as working on enriching campus cultural expression.

On an ongoing basis, I optimize our online customer journey for our websites and e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless navigation, mobile-friendly usage, and an ideal checkout process to maximize the optimizing customer satisfaction and conversion rates.to expand our reach, I identify and collaborate with influencers and affiliates, establishing partnerships that help us engage wider audiences. I lead strategic campaigns for product launches, incorporating unique themes, limited editions, and promotional events that create excitement around our brand.

During my internship at Soni Polymers Pvt. Ltd., I gained extensive hands-on experience in the Lab, Quality Control, and Research & Development departments, specializing in the formulation and quality assurance of high-performance stationery products.Key ResponsibilitiesLab & Quality Control: Conducted stability, viscosity and color consistency tests for inks and adhesives in products such as markers and glue sticks. I operated instruments like viscometers and spectrophotometers to ensure the quality of each production batch. This involved spotting inconsistencies, writing up results, and working with production to make sure our strict quality protocols were adhered to.Research & Development: Collaborated with R&D for the development of sustainable adhesives with improved sustainability-performance tradeoffs. I explored different substrates they could use to maintain adhesive strength, such as the effect of drying time or the bond life; I put the new formulations through the paces to make sure that they scored high on environmental and quality standards. It gave me insight into developing sustainable products.

What is our AIM : The main of our foundation is to uplift the society by doing meaningful and impactful activities within our limits. In collaboration with Habitat for Humanity India, I worked on a fundraising campaign to provide essential supplies to families affected by COVID-19 in Nagpur. This project was part of my contribution to the NGO's broader mission of supporting vulnerable communities.Raised $400 through a crowdfunding campaign, contributing to essential supplies and hygiene kits for over 500 families impacted by the pandemic.Supported Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to aid families in need, helping to provide necessary resources during a critical time.
