Currently working as Deputy Manager in L2 station at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai. Leading the team of I&C Engineers and Field staff – total 30 members to keep the plant operational by ensuring Preventive, Predictive, Corrective and Emergency Maintenance. Developing and executing maintenance plan based on OEM recommendations, failure rates, experience, industrial practice and legal requirements. Initiating and implementing new ideas for improvements to enhance safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Responsible for Safety, Health and Environment related standards implementation, compliance with the standards and legal requirements. Asset Management by maintenance, replacement, upgrade, spare parts procurement and skill development. Preparation of department budget for spare and capital purchase.Cyber security adherence by compliance to quality procedures, conducting VAT – Vulnerability Assessment Test, Preparation of Fast Restoration of control system and mock drill execution.Skills in analyzing the trip, studying and preparing root cause analysis. Interaction with different departments, OEM, contractors as part of maintenance activities, procurement, tender evaluation etc.Technical, Leadership and Managerial experience of Total 27 years with prestigious organization in India (10 years) and Middle East (17 years) - in combine cycle power plant with Siemens and GE make gas / steam turbines and control systems. The plant includes 4X235 MW Siemens V94.2 Gas Turbines, 4 HRSGs, 1 fired boiler, 2 x 200 MW Alstom Steam Turbines, 4 x 13.5 MIGD MSF Desal units, fuel gas supply system including 8 gas compressors, fuel oil supply system, DM Water production plant, Cooling water system, Sea water system, Blending plant, Chlorination plant, Potable water system, Solar plant 1.8 MW.The control system includes Simadyn D for Gas turbines, Alspa P320 for steam turbine, Siemens T2000 system for plant control system, Siemens make PLCs.With a proven track record of managing complex operations, leading teams, ensuring safe and reliable plant operations, I am a result oriented professional with extensive experience in the power generation industry.
