I worked with a British multinational universal bank on both Business as Usual (BAU) operations and change projects related to Flexcube. One of the key initiatives was the In-Country Processing (ICP) project, a regulatory requirement from the Central Bank of East African countries mandating that banks conduct primary processing within the country. Another significant project involved implementing a Core Pricing and Billing engine, which enhances the bank's competitive edge by aligning with customer lifestyles to promote the uptake of banking solutions. This initiative aimed to automate critical areas to achieve increased income opportunities, enhanced customer satisfaction, and improved customer retention.My responsibilities included analyzing production incidents to define the scope of functional and technical testing, designing the test strategy and plans aligned with release timelines, and leading the testing team during System Integration Testing (SIT). I coordinated with clients and vendors to facilitate application enhancements and resolve issues, while also providing updates on testing progress to senior stakeholders. Additionally, I offered techno-functional support during SIT and UAT, managed defect resolution, and prepared and executed automated test suites for Flexcube (FCR). I participated in daily defect and UAT progress calls, reviewed testing artifacts, prepared closure reports, and played a key role in training and mentoring new team members.

I was part of the implementation team for an in-house core banking product at one of the largest banks in the U.S., which has been successfully deployed in Poland, Hungary, the UAE, and Russia. As a Business Analyst, I focused on the Single Account Opening (SAO), eCRM, Teller, and CBOL modules. My responsibilities included gathering and assessing business requirements from a functional perspective, actively participating in client meetings and planning sessions, and preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Use Case documents.I finalized the scope of testing based on available documentation and developed end-to-end scenarios and test cases, while also reviewing assigned test cases. Throughout the project, I assisted the team in resolving queries during preparation and execution, coordinating closely with both the business and development teams. I managed the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), contributed to developing a Risk Assessment matrix for the test scripts, and was involved in test data setup and preparation. Additionally, I participated in daily calls with the teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

In this role, I designed the test strategy and test plan, ensuring alignment with release timelines. I reviewed System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases and led the testing team throughout the testing process. I provided Level 2 support and end-of-day (EOD) assistance for the Flexcube retail module at a prestigious Indian public sector bank. As part of the team responsible for migrating applications from IBBS to Flexcube, I played a crucial role in debugging and offering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support during the implementation process. I effectively managed client issues, troubleshooting and resolving bugs to ensure smooth operations. My involvement in Level 2 production support activities has further enhanced my skills in addressing complex challenges in a dynamic banking environment.

My role involved actively participating in business and client meetings, where I contributed to planning and requirements gathering. I prepared comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Use Case documents, helping to define the scope of testing based on these resources.I was responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking software configuration management activities throughout the project lifecycle. My testing expertise includes conducting smoke and regression tests, as well as debugging and providing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support during the implementation phase. I ensured that all tests were executed according to the established test plan and coordinated closely with branch teams and partners for effective testing and result analysis.Additionally, I managed job scheduling, execution, and monitoring using Autosys, and provided post-implementation support to ensure that there was no adverse impact on system functionality.
