As the leader of the Global Environmental Protection/Livelihoods Program, I directed initiatives aimed at developing sustainable livelihood opportunities for impoverished populations in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. Overseeing comprehensive program implementation through in-country project operations teams, including technical, operations, and support services from World Vision and external partner NGOs, I fostered close collaboration with stakeholders to maximize program impact. I successfully established National and Global Waste Management Committees, fostering partnerships with governments, non-profits, and local communities to promote responsible waste disposal practices and create innovative income-generating opportunities. Through skillful policy dialogue and advocacy, I advanced policy-oriented agendas on environmental and gender inclusion matters, leveraging resources and cultivating strategic alliances for a collaborative implementation of policies. Additionally, I led budget administration, staff management, and daily operations, aligning policies and programs with both daily and strategic interests in consultation with country project coordination teams.

As the leader of World Vision's development programming in South Caucasus (Georgia & Armenia), I successfully managed an annual budget of $15M, overseeing 250 national staff across diverse sectors, including education, health, nutrition, child protection, water, sanitation, and hygiene, livelihoods and resilience, food security, and economic development. During 2018-2019, my strategic leadership positively impacted the lives of 40,000 sponsored children. I played a pivotal role in driving transformative change within the South Caucasus multi-country National Office by decentralizing operations, enhancing organizational efficiency, and localizing country programs. Through my efforts in advocacy, communications, and fundraising, I significantly expanded program funding, engaging with key donors such as the EU. I collaborated seamlessly with departments across the World Vision global network, ensuring resource acquisition, program quality assurance, and staff development.

As the country representative, I seamlessly integrated programmatic and operational aspects of the country office, ensuring ongoing relevance with the national context and alignment with regional and global actions of World Vision. In the fragile state of Pakistan, I strategically directed country programming to directly enhance the sustained well-being of children, leading to improved child well-being outcomes. My guidance enabled program development to capitalize on emergent opportunities and areas of work, consolidating strategic insight for increased program effectiveness. Serving as a key representative to donors, project partners, World Vision PO/SOs, and local stakeholders, I strengthened partnerships and expanded funding opportunities. My contributions and communications within the global network facilitated resource acquisition, new program initiatives, quality assurance, accountability, and staff development, enhancing program implementation and staff capacity building.

Led the strategic planning and comprehensive implementation of support initiatives for Syrian refugees along the Balkans route. From overseeing food aid, child-friendly spaces, social support, non-food items, to awareness programs, I ensured the alignment of response strategies with World Vision's overarching goals. My commitment to the highest international and organizational standards was unwavering, leading to the successful initiation of funding mechanisms through the invaluable support of Regional Leadership and the Regional Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs Director. Building dynamic partnerships with government officials, humanitarian actors, media, and the public significantly enhanced the success of our response efforts. I exercised wise oversight of the Security function, implementing measures to prioritize the safety of response staff and the organization. Through meticulous compliance with internal and external reporting requirements for diverse donors, including DFID, ADH, UNICEF, ECHO, Irish Aid, EO, and seven World Vision Support Offices, I solidified a reputation for transparency, accountability, and delivering impactful results.

Initiated strategic planning, decision-making, and growth, resulting in a remarkable 100% increase in budget and the expansion of both sectoral programming and geographic footprint across the country. Through my efforts, program funding was expanded and diversified, engaging donors and securing stable multi-year funding, elevating World Vision to become the most resourced INGO in the country and a key strategic partner to UN agencies. I ensured direct contributions to the sustained well-being of children and the fulfillment of their rights within families and communities. Coordinating with various departments within the World Vision global network, I facilitated resource acquisition, quality assurance, accountability, and staff development. My commitment to fostering improved relationships extended to host government ministries, UN agencies, civil society actors, and institutional donors. Notably, I developed effective guidelines and procedures for identifying, assessing, and selecting local partners for strategic alliances. My tenure also witnessed strong financial management and budget execution for consecutive four years with no grant underspending or overspending, and I led the enterprise risk management process, achieving an "acceptable risk" audit rating. In an additional responsibility entrusted by MEER Regional Leadership, I provided strategic guidance to the World Vision Georgia country program/team, developing local fundraising and marketing strategies, policies, and procedures for effective planning and coordination. I championed the implementation of local fundraising plans rooted in market research and analysis, identified and pursued priority donor funding instruments, and established genuine partnerships with donors, fostering a cultural shift towards resource mobilization.

Led the Monetization Consortium comprised of six organizations, including WV (lead agency), IRD, Save the Children, Africare, ADRA, and FH, responsible for selling USAID Title II commodities in Mozambique to generate revenues for multi-year agricultural development and health/nutrition programs. Managed all processes related to the commodity monetization for all consortium partners, including market assessments, price determination, tenders, commodity call forwards, and commodity receipt/dispatch. Monetized 50,000MTs of wheat, generating over US$12 million in income for consortium partners annually. Directly managed the USAID-funded Title II Multi-Year Assistance Program with a budget of $10M and 80 staff members. The program increased agricultural production for households and rural agricultural business associations, provided vocational/business training in agricultural technologies, and assisted farmers in agribusiness marketing and micro-enterprise management. Successfully established and developed cluster business associations, improving private sector linkages and significantly improving nutrition and health practices among children under 5, pregnant and lactating women, people living with HIV/AIDS, and the chronically ill. Effectively rolled-out DRR systems in target communities. Ensured sound financial management of grant implementation as well as monetization cycles, ensuring all consortium members received an adequate level of funding on time.

In a dynamic role, I provided leadership and management for diverse emergency relief and development interventions, overseeing an annual budget of $6M and a team of 60 staff members. Funded by USAID, ECHO, DFID, WFP, and World Vision Support Offices, these initiatives made a tangible impact on the ground. I played a pivotal role in the development of strategy, standards, and implementation field manuals for pilot programs, significantly expanding urban programs by C-SAFE member agencies throughout Zimbabwe. Notably, I successfully piloted and mainstreamed Humanitarian Accountability activities within urban programs, ensuring transparency and accountability to beneficiaries. Serving as the technical focal point for urban programs within the C-SAFE Consortium, the largest USAID-funded Consortium for Southern Africa Food Security Emergency, comprised of World Vision, CARE, and Catholic Relief Services, I contributed to its strategic direction. Additionally, I assumed the role of C-SAFE Chief of Party for an extended period, managing a multimillion-dollar consortium and coordinating the development of a winning SYAP proposal for FY10, showcasing my commitment to excellence in program management and consortium leadership.

I initiated the establishment of an innovative Business Development Services unit, driving a substantial enhancement in organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This strategic move facilitated the seamless integration of multiple grants and programs, aligning efforts towards achieving a common social responsibility. As the leader overseeing the economic development components of cutting-edge advocacy and social welfare projects, I provided crucial support to single vulnerable mothers and internally displaced groups across Georgia. This encompassed initiatives such as employment counseling, business and vocational trainings, and small grants, ultimately contributing to the empowerment and economic upliftment of these communities. My role extended to forging robust partnerships with state authorities and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration to develop innovative alternative services that effectively addressed the complex socio-economic challenges faced by some of the most vulnerable groups in Georgia.

Provided high-quality financial and marketing consultations to micro and medium-sized enterprises in Georgia through the World Bank-funded Center for Enterprise Restructuring and Management Assistance; Conducted comprehensive enterprise analyses and developed short-term and long-term development action plans to support sustainable growth; Successfully guided Georgian companies in establishing lean and agile supply chain systems and accessing alternative international markets for their inputs; Designed efficient distribution and sales systems to document project-related economic and social outcomes, including increases in sales, exports, and employment.

Arranged the delivery of technical assistance and facilitated the optimal use of grants to foster the establishment and growth of rural business associations, while simultaneously spearheading the development of industry sector value chains, investment opportunities, and export promotion strategies. Contributed to the identification and monitoring of rural agricultural market demands, which helped the regional team to devise and execute targeted project interventions. Additionally, led the tracking of key socio-economic indicators that were critical for the success of the project, which aimed to enhance the quality of food products for export to the EU.

As a Forwarding Manager at a Georgian-Dutch transport-forwarding group, successfully led and maintained strong relationships with local and international shipping lines, freight-forwarding agencies, transport terminals, depots, truckers, and ports. Provided innovative global transportation and shipping solutions in the Caucasian market.
