As someone who is passionate about writing, and understands the role of consumer behaviour in shaping the current market trends I, Devika Gupta studied Marketing and applied this knowledge in three different job roles during initial years of my career. I started off as a Sales Representative in India’s number 1 job portal “Naukri.com” where I gained a ground experience of selling and dealing with clients 1:1. This experience polished my communication skills and pushed me to pursue a role in Client Relationship, I landed up in Locobuzz as a Client Relationship Manager. Working with Locobuzz was indeed an amazing experience, most of my learnings today have come from My mentors at Locobuzz, here I not only learned how to manage clients in much better way but also learned about the tech aspect of a tool functioning, formulating business reports, gaining insights and how to consult clients based on those insights. After gaining a valuable knowledge and experience I moved to Commversion to dive myself into deeper realms of Marketing, here I learned Market Research and making use of my marketing skills to derive strategies for accelerating business growth. My hunger for knowledge and the eagerness to learn more about media and communications I moved to Melbourne. I enrolled myself in Masters of Communication and Media Studies at Monash University where my passion for writing got the aid it required, this course helped me to discover my true calling that is Public relation and brand building, Although I have 0 experience in this field but my acquired skills will help to me thrive a career in this path.
