My first class MSc from the Queen Mary University of London has allowed me to broaden my interest in diversifying the field of clinical psychology. My first-class dissertation examining the efficacy of culturally adapted CBT therapy for collectivist populations in the UK highlights my ardour for inclusive research. My current experience in two assistant psychologist roles both specialising in trauma work for the NHS has given me the opportunity to put my academic research into practice, and work with diverse and vast range of different populations in the UK with complex mental health needs in innovative ways. I am committed to dedicating my career towards bringing intersectionality into therapeutic community and trauma research through meaningful insights drawn from my lived, academic, and clinical experience. I hope my love for the performing arts expresses this in the most theatrical and exuberant way!
