My job involves decoding the style statements of celebrities and writing analytical pieces, some of which have been appreciated by the designers and celebs. Also, I have interviewed designers such as Anavila and Gaurang. Adding, I make it a point to promote sustainable fashion through my articles. I have also shortly handled the social media for the portal.

GuestHouser is among India's largest portal to discover, book, and list vacation rentals and holiday homes. So, the job involved curating and writing a description of the properties listed with the portals. I also wrote travel blogs, which were very refreshing (not run-of-the-mill kinds). Apart from that, also helped with social media posts (with creativity).

Working here was one of the most exciting phases of my life. So, this was a very refreshing portal that catered to art, culture, fashion, and design. There was a lot of creative freedom here and I did stories (written) and assisted in the video ones. I have covered a number of art events here (including taking interview of Vivan Sundaram). Adding to that, I had also interviewed Late. Tom Alter, Gurucharan Das, Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, and have assisted with the interviews of Anurag Kashyap, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Raghu Rai, and Aditya Arya. I wrote a lot about pop culture issues and assisted in the video making projects. I covered fashion weeks and found some extra interesting stories.

It was at Wedding Affair that I figured out that I was interested in Fashion and Lifestyle. I wrote a lot of feature articles here (beauty, travel, jewellery, interiors, and fashion). I got a lot of opportunities here, right from covering an event in the Thai Embassy to interviewing Anita Dongre at her Mumbai studio to covering Lakme Fashion Week). I had also assisted with the interview of JJ Valaya and interviewed Tarun Tahiliani (coordinated with the fashion shoot too). I coordinated with the celebrity interviews and the PRs.

I was at the sports desk here and I actually learnt how to write here and what is news-worthy and what is not. I did a lot of sports stories, covered a lot of mountaineering ones as well, and the flag-off of Royal Enfield Motorcycling Rally (It was at 6 AM). I think as an intern, you should take initiatives and I did.
