Raised in Silicon Valley, California, I have seen the rise of technology impact low-income communities. This pushed me to find a social justice club in my high school called Raise to better support the large population of low-income students. Motivated to further explore my passion for engineering, I sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. Fortunately, I became involved with an organization affiliated with Stanford University, which offered valuable resources and guidance. With their support, I was able to win Sciencepalooza 2020 for Engineering. Now continuing my education in University of Berkeley, I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree in EECS. After completing my education, I plan to work under companies that prioritize sustainability. One potential field with sustainability in electrical engineering, I am interested is the renewable energy industry, since it is the possibility to make the most meaningful impact.
