Measured water quality parameters from the samples taken in the field for submission to the Ohio EPA. Filtering for chlorophyll using a ‘3 position filtration rig, connected to a Gast vacuum pump, a Turner TD-700 fluorometer was used to measure chlorophyll, a LI-COR radiometer was used to measure water clarity and photosynthetically active radiation at depth (i.e. the light meter), a Van Dorn bottle was used to collect depth resolved water samples, and a YSI water quality sonde was used to measure water temperature, conductivity and dissolved oxygen.
