Detailing Lead
CurrentTeam leader is responsible for the development and success of the team, the department, and the division. The Team Lead works closely with their team to manage workloads and ensure all customer commitments are met. The Team Lead is responsible for development of their direct reports through coaching, counseling, and providing feedback. Leads are directly involved in the selection process, interviews, hiring, and training of new team members. All is to be done with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Effectiveness as it applies to their team, and the division as a whole. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)Ensuring all Safety goals and requirements are met. Providing competitive submittal dates, while allowing special accommodation based on customer needs. Review of all new detail work Structural, Architectual, Steel drawings, and etc. Managing teammates workload based on coordination with the customer, internal project managers, design team, scheduling, commitments, and teammate individual capacity. Providing schedule updates, continuous communication, and documentation for a volatile production/delivery schedule. Processing drawing revisions through multiple steps of document control. Tracking additional work time needed for change orders or any additional charges. Providing backup with RFI's (Request for Information) submittals and customers concerns. Representing team in coordination calls directly with the customer. Promoting team atmosphere, cohesiveness, and motivating team. Resolving conflicts and addressing personnel issues within team which includes, but is not limited to corrective actions, coaching, and accommodations when necessary. Evaluating team members, providing effective and timely feedback to team members through weekly productivity and quality updates, personal develop plans, team goal discussions, and department updates. Conducting performance reviews quarterly. Reviewing timesheets for accuracy.
