As a certified holistic herbalist, I study the use of medicinal plants for the health and well-being of the physical, emotional and spiritual body. I incorporate herbal medicine, diet, nutrition and lifestyle tips into a holistic regimen for friends, family and anyone who's interested in bettering their health.In practice, I use western herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Reiki & massage into a whole, unified system of healing. I run my own apothecary and craft a variety of plant-based medicines, such as tinctures, teas, infused oils, salves and soaps. I like to stick with plants that I've personally wildharvested, but I do occasionally splurge on some fancy herbs for both you and me. :)I don't currently work on a clinical level, but I do consistently research and write about it. I bridge the gaps between western scientific medicine, eastern and traditional medical philosophies. I'm all about that "holistic biology."

I am currently a 4-shooting-for-5-star writer according to Textbroker's standards. I have written over 100 articles on a variety of subjects of my choice, preferring those related to health, diet, traditional medicine, science, literature, music and environment. I took care of and fed the chickens, sheep, dogs and horse. I planted squash and beets, set up irrigation and did lots and lots of weeding. Then, I harvested the crops, cleaned them and stored them for sale. Other tasks around the farm included mowing, pulling the chicken tractor, shoveling sheep poo, tending to the orchard and other general landscaping duties.

This is where I learned to drive a tractor! I also planted a diverse selection of organic crops in a 1-acre field, set up irrigation, weeded, picked, washed, packed and sold them at two different farmer's markets.
