I lead a team of 12 Data Center Technicians responsible for the 24/7 management of the most power-dense data center in the world. In my role as Data Center Manager, I’ve grown our team from 3 to 12 team members focused on keeping the facility running on time, on budget and meeting our contractual customer obligations.My day-to-day responsibilities include safety, recruiting, training, work planning, quality assurance, scheduling, and motivation to keep our team members safe, productive and skilled in an ever changing environment. I believe in connecting with each team member one-on-one and matching the jobs to be done with their natural skills, abilities and interests. Most importantly, I believe work should be fun and try to infuse humor into all that I do.
