• Responsible for design and release of interior trim for various programs. • Manage activities between Platform, Specifications, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Suppliers to bring new products to market. • Conduct Peer Reviews where all program requirements such as Best Practices for Design and Material Selection are identified as well as other internal and Federal requirement.• Create and maintain Master Parts List and Statement of Requirement, which are vital documents in the Supplier Selection Process.• Develop engineering solutions through Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.• Manage validation activities on a component, subsystem and vehicle level to ensure company quality initiatives are met• Support and provide direction through all build phases including Proto, Pilot and Production. • Follow up on product after release and address continuous improvement initiatives.
