About Devin Wilcox

My 20+ years in the pharmaceutical industry has led me down a unique path that has wound from working as a pharmacist in my early profession to managed care later in my career. This path toward professional development has enabled me to participate in several inspirational projects that have supported the wellness of community members and developed numerous effective business initiatives. Since community outreach has always been important to me, I have chosen to direct my career and enthusiasm toward managed care. One program where I have successfully made a difference in the community while providing unrivaled services was while working for Global Health. At this health insurance plan organization, my team and I overhauled a pharmacy drug reconciliation and hospital discharge follow-up program aimed at reducing ER readmissions among our patients. We successfully achieved our goal by introducing numerous initiatives, such as contacting our at-risk patients monthly, providing mobile urgent care, medication reconciliation, and plans of care after discharge. As a result-oriented leader, I excel at completing multifaceted projects that are completed above expectations. When Walgreens purchased USA Drug Pharmacy, I was appointed manager over transitioning these new stores into official Walgreens pharmacies. My team and I visited nearly 67 stores across four states to execute the conversion process within five months. We trained over 600 employees on Walgreens policies and procedures, customer care, and operating our computer systems.
