Project Manager—Product Lifecycle Management Team

South Jordan, Utah

Cricut has experienced wonderful growth as a company, which in turn has led to a vast expansion of products designed by Cricut for our market industries. To continue leading the current revolution of the Maker-space and to continue to help people live creative lives, my team was tasked with implementing a formal Product Lifecycle Management system; complete with software (Arena Solutions) and updated processes and procedures across the business. As Project Manager for these efforts, my main responsibilities included coordinating all efforts with every Cricut Department, keeping not only all stakeholders updated on the progress but actively having them be a part of all we do. I worked to keep all progress moving forward as we worked to reach our milestones concerning the implementation and thus helped to control time management as well as mitigate risk to the business as much as possible. As a member of the implementation team, I worked with my team on updating, streamlining, and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of all processes and procedures concerning the phases of a product lifecycle. We worked with stakeholders and other Cricut Employees across the entire business and in every office globally, which is especially important in the cases where we implemented brand new processes and procedures. Additionally, I was responsible for helping with all data correlation, scrubbing, and uploading efforts as we implemented the Software Tool and correlating any adjacent efforts that are in use globally by Cricut and its Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers. Software Qa Lead—Internal Tools

Acted as main lead and gatekeeper for my Internal Tools team, which included a global team of both software developers and QA engineers. I was the lead quality assurance engineer for all tools developed for internal use by Cricut. Primary responsibilities included the coordination of testing by my team of all changes to existing internal software from the concept/design phase, up through release for use by the company's users. This includes all phases of release testing from white box and black box and up to qualifying a build for release using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Once a release candidate was qualified by me and my team, I also was responsible for final testing once the RC build has been published and made available for customer use. Also was responsible for continued testing of all internal tool applications as updates were made to secondary areas (such as API updates) that impacted said applications and their performance. These internal tools were web-based applications that are essential to the functions of several departments. Including, but not limited to, Cricut’s Customer Care and Technical Support teams and the Creative Content team. This included testing such functions as adding new content resources (new images and projects) for Cricut Design Space—thus expanding the existing resource database—and the continued development and enhancement of applications in use by the customer care center.
