"Pearson’s Global Education Strategy (GES) drove a major shift towards digital learning, education services, and emerging markets. The Appointment and Selection work stream initiated a two-year restructuring, shaping Pearson’s it into today’s current flat operating structure.”I had the privilege of spearheading Pearson's Executive Appointment & Selection initiative within this Global Education Strategy. It involved orchestrating one of the most extensive internal executive appointment processes seen in the FTSE100 company at that time. During this appointment, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Pearson Executives and consulting firms, sharing insights from previous pilot restructure programmes to refine our approach and selection materials. Additionally, I played a role in developing a much needed recruitment portal, aimed at facilitating smoother divisional re-organisation. Through workshops, I alongside my colleagues supported the successful implementation of valuable content for over 400 HR and executive team members as well as taking on responsibility for the set-up, management, daily operations and performance of the executive recruitment help-desk. A final aspect of my role involved overseeing the forecasting and data quality and provision of regular KPI reports to the Programme Director.
