Hello! My name is Devin Lau. I'm a third year marketing student at George Brown College, never settling with good enough. My ever growing passion for both marketing and computer technology has pushed my limits of curiosity by leaps and bounds, building multiple years of experience with research and computer assembly. With a knack for researching and experimenting, I always seek to find the best path for the most return on investment. I always look forward to the next opportunity to work with others and take the initiative to lead projects and groups in multiple courses, such as Integrated Marketing Communications, Project Management, as well as Marketing Research. Through these programs, I've built a strong foundation of communication, teamwork, and industry ready technical skills, resulting in exceptional final scores that has earned me the Dean's Letter for Academic Honours for 3 consecutive terms.My mission is to learn about brand new and industry standard technology applications relevant in the marketing field, such as SAS and SalesForce, to build and enhance my marketing foundation. Leveraging my existing computer proficiency skills, I wish to boost business brand awareness, improve target market engagement, as well as find ways to streamline and automate various marketing processes through new technologies such as AI. Following graduation, I hope to pursue an entry level research marketing position that will allow me to utilize the skills I have developed throughout my studies.
