CurrentControlled telecommunication facilities that were responsible for all network broadcast communication between Afghanistan and the United States, including classified, unclassified, and top-secret networks. Worked with Regional Hub Nodes (RHN)), Single Shelter Switches (SSS), Joint Network Nodes (JNN) also known as Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) programs, and Satellite Transportable Terminals (STTs) which stabilized and secure communication connectivity from the tactical network. Used DKET satellite terminals with Ku-band frequencies for X, Ku and Ka band to secure network connectivity in Iraq and Afghanistan. Used JNN (WIN-T) to ensure effective internet protocol (IP) communication between battalions. Assist with frequency division multiple access (FDMA) and time division multiple access (TMDA). Worked with the communications and electronics maintenance team on satellite transportable terminals (STT) to secure and establish line of sight voice, video, and data communications resulting in clear signals.Serviced and maintained American Forces Network (AFN) telecommunication and broadcast antennas and equipment in the Southern Region of Korea. Also, coordinated and scheduled maintenance and repairs of broadcast telecommunication. Trained, organized, and supervised teams of mission ready personnel to perform maintenance and repairs of broadcast telecommunication satellites leading to zero unauthorized service losses. Trained and worked with Cisco based computer systems to configure, administer and troubleshoot, Local Area Network/Wide Area Network infrastructures ensuring 100% effective communication.
