My position as a consulting developer did not change with the acquisition. Some highlights of my accomplishments are:• Primary developer for a Beacon Finalist application which helps Veterans get benefits faster while increasing revenue for customer by 80%. Developed a mail analysis tool giving administrators extremely detailed information about mail and attachment statistics. • Primary developer / advisor helping a customer migrate from Windows to Linux server environment, including application changeover from server ODBC DSN data to DB2 connection and Web Services environment.

1099 Contractor • Re-engineered a real-time invoice query system to allow business customers to request and generate invoice information (as both html and PDF) in real time. Developed system to use a single XML data set for both web and PDF generation.• Created a Windows 32 bit API specifically for Lotus Notes / Domino applications to allow native LotusScript to interface with the Win32 API. This was driven by the need to give Lotus Notes users the ability to print attachments for multiple selected documents.

Lotus Notes/Domino, Distance Learning, Human Resources and reporting projects, covering a large portion of the NTC’s mission. Some of my accomplishments were:• Designed and led the development and implementation of LARRT (the Learning management system Administration Request & Reporting Tool), a Domino based web application serving over 60,000 US Department of Interior employees• Complete re-design of the entire LNAT (Leadership Needs Assessment Tool), including Assessment creation, automated reporting, event logging, IDP (Individual Development Plan) integration; as well as a complete replacement of the User Interface with a much more intuitive and capable UI.• Administrative and development advisory support of the NTC’s entire Learning Space environment.

While reporting to the VP of the Product Group, I was responsible for directing multiple software engineering teams in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment to develop InfoImage’s freedom product. • Provided expertise and technical support for the architecture, design, and content of multiple areas of the freedom product; including User Interface, Microsoft Web Parts, Replication Services, Search Services, and Data Integration (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, SAP, etc.).• Directed the delivery of three major Service Packs and five Hotfixes of the freedom product on schedule and within budget. • Worked to implement (and get organizational buy-in for) a planned software development process consisting of a mixture of methodologies from the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), and the Rational Unified Process (RUP). • Implemented workable software engineering methodologies. Strengthened predictable delivery through detailed project planning, milestone reviews, adherence to design and coding standards, continuous quality evaluations, and iterative development/delivery cycles.• Recruited, mentored, evaluated, and led a team of 25 software developers.
