Devin is currently serving as a Community Coordinator at Kennesaw State University. In her role she gets to spend time overseeing a community of over 1000 students, supervising 29 Resident Assistants, and supervising a Graduate Residence Director. The support and community that she feels within her department that she also gets to create for her RAs and the residents that live in her community are what keeps her excited about working in Housing and Residence Life.While in her Higher Education Administration Masters Program at North Carolina State University (NCSU), Devin had the chance to serve as the Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement- Civic Engagement and Student Programming at William Peace University (WPU). This position offered her the unique opportunity to work in student involvement as well as serve on-call for Residence Life and Housing at WPU. She also spent a semester serving as the Graduate Assistant for the Dean of Students at Meredith College. Devin's experiences at these three different institutions further solidified her interest and commitment to the field of Student Affairs. Devin first found her interest in Student Affairs while she was an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina- Charlotte (UNCC). She graduated from UNCC with Bachelors of Science in Psychology in May of 2019. While in school, she worked for three years as a Resident Advisor and loved the experience. Devin especially loved using the experience she gained over her three years to help mentor newer team members. It was this mentoring work environment that inspired Devin to pursue a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration.
