I started out as Tech Support on the swing shift to support the new London office and website from the Seattle HQ. I was given the opportunity to become the System Administrator for the London office and relocate to London. I handle everything from minor computer questions to major outages.

I had just moved from Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA, I was able to get a position working on inventory tagging project for Expedia's IT team. After finishing the project ahead of schedule I was able to help their deskside team with support tickets. After two weeks of working tickets I was asked to come on a 3 month contract to hire as a deskside tech, under the condition if I completed the Dell and Lenovo certification with in the 3 months they would hire me on fulltime. I completed the requested certifications, was hired fulltime. I worked for a growing Expedia in their main Headquarters for a year while they grew to bursting in there current building, and had to rent 4 floors in another building across the street. I was ask to go to the new building and be the main support for the 200 Expedia employees that were relocated there. I learned a lot during my time there, being an in house repair team we did everything from upgrading RAM to replacing planer boards for a variety of machines e.g Dell, Lenovo, and Macs.

I started as a contract employee on there biggest account with the option to become fulltime if I completed the N+, MCP, and A+ with in 3 months. I accomplished this goal while going to College fulltime. During my time there I progressed to Helpdesk Technician II and a leader within our team. We remotely supported 2500 users all over the world. It was a wonderful and challenging start to my career of IT.
