During my time as a City Facilities Management Help Desk Representative, I specialized as a liaison between City Facilities field technicians (HVACs and MSTs,) technician supervisors, regional field managers, vendors and Walmart store associates, organizing repair tasks and jobs to facilitate expedient and satisfactory service for Walmart stores across the United States. From in-bound calls from Walmart stores and technicians, I created new jobs with documentation on tasks required and provided them to field technicians both digitally and via phone calls; I contacted, assigned and funded vendors to complete existing jobs through communication with regional field managers; and the concerns and requests of Walmart associates were recorded and conveyed to applicable parties. With out-bound calls, I maintained thorough timelines on existing jobs with ETAs and updates obtained from technicians. My role often centered upon getting to the core of the obstacles faced by store associates in moments of crisis and providing technicians with all information necessary to perform their duties as efficiently as possible.
