For me, it all started with LEGO.My creative drive began with those simple little blocks, building everything I could imagine and dreaming of what my creations would do. Then in elementary school I discovered LEGO robotics. Suddenly I was no longer just dreaming: I could give my machines instructions and have them move on their own. The first time I programmed a rover to drive around the house, teaching it to figure out when it had gotten itself trapped in a corner or stuck under a couch, I realized I loved doing this.That love followed me through clubs in middle school and into programming courses in high school. The physical blocks themselves became less important to me than the logic behind them; writing programs that could solve things in the real world.When Catalyte finally gave me the opportunity to enter the industry as a professional, I knew instantly that this was where I was meant to be. Building software is a joyful endeavor for me, and there are few things that I enjoy more than having a good challenge to solve. I am skilled in the use of JavaScript, C#, HTML, CSS, React, .Net, Heroku, Git, Jest, and PostgreSQL.
