As a food safety and quality professional at Hammond's Candies, I am responsible for implementing and maintaining the FSMS, conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. I am certified in Preventive Controls-Human Food, Implementing SQF, and have extensive knowledge of product labeling and industry standards. I have also implemented our Sustainability Program, where we have achieved recognition at the bronze level with Colorado Green Business Network. I value teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement, and strive to contribute to the company's mission of creating delicious, handcrafted candies.Before joining Hammond's Candies, I worked as a QA Lab Tech at Aurora Organic Dairy, where I analyzed raw material and finished goods, using various instruments and techniques, such as Foss, Horiba, and Epic analyzers, micro plating, and start up swab verification. I also performed raw tanker inspections, and reported and documented any quality issues or deviations. I gained valuable skills in quality control, data analysis, and problem-solving, and learned how to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
