I am a highly qualified teacher certified in general education pk-3 and special education k-8. I am currently a special education teacher in a second and third grade self-contained classroom. Prior to teaching at OCPS, I was a second grade special education resource room teacher at the George L. Hess Educational Complex. I am on my 5th year of teaching and looking forward to all the years to come!I received my Bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from West Chester University in 2015. I am currently finishing up my Master’s of Special Education with the American College of Education. In addition to teaching in the classroom, I was a dance teacher at The Dance Place in Ocean City, NJ for 6 years. I taught group tap classes as well as private lessons. Prior to teaching, I worked for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of NJ as the Southern NJ Campaign Manager. I worked with schools to create fundraising programs, gave presentations, and raised money for this amazing cause. I loved this position, but knew I belonged in the classroom! I currently live in South Jersey with my husband, Jake, Dog, Benny and a baby on the way March 2022.
