During my placement year from university, I had the opportunity to explore and develop skills both in the finance sector and in a professional environment. My tasks included completing the daily direct debit runs, processing and managing overhead invoices as well as other accounts receivable tasks.

I worked at Car Benefit Solutions for just over 12 months on a placement year. I gained valuable experience in a range of financial and accounting areas of the business such as management accounting, accounts receivable, business overheads and managing the company’s petty cash.
