CurrentDevon Gallagher of Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. is Towson’s local, born and bred leading mortgage professional. A Loch Raven High School graduate (’95) and Towson University Alum (’00), Devon’s roots are deep in the area. After graduation, Devon quickly found a passion for helping others with one of the largest financial decisions of their life – buying a home. With the support of similar minded friends, Dean Johnson and Vic Biscoe, the trio began brainstorming big things in the humble confines of Dean’s basement home office. With years of combined experience, a comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and a passion to help folks obtain the dream of home-ownership, they set out to find a company that fit. While researching options, they discovered Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. – a national company whose philosophy supported their vision.Branch 1285 of Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI) grew quickly and by the third month of operation the trio had closed over 40 loans. Within months, they moved to a larger space and eventually another, adding top-notch mortgage professionals with each step. Today, Devon is the Divisional Sales Manager for the group’s regional operations center, located in the heart of Towson, Maryland. Devon has helped expand Branch 1285 to nine locations, including Delaware and South Carolina, and employs over 75 loan officers and support staff. Towson's Branch continually ranks as PRMI’s top branch. Individually, Devon is consistently recognized as a Top 10 Loan Officer nationwide. What started out as three friends in a Towson basement, has closed over 3 Billion in loans in 12 years! (That is a lot of happy homeowners.)
