TABLE is a nonprofit hunger relief organization dedicated to providing food aid to children ages 3-15 in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area. TABLE distributes over 500 backpacks of healthy nonperishables and fresh, seasonal produce every week to children at risk of hunger over the weekend, when they are unable to access free school meals. TABLE also aims to educate and empower children through its Snack Chef program, which allows children to explore new foods, learn simple food preparation techniques, and gain exposure to nutrition basics. My responsibilities at TABLE include the following... Manage volunteer and food donation databases and create reports from those databases; provide general data management support. Oversee TABLE's official blog: editing blog entry submissions, social media outreach, email campaigns through MailChimp, contribute blog posts of my own.Assist the Executive Director with grant applications and other written proposalsCoordinate and lead volunteer shifts
