I have had the pleasure of working in the Surveying and Engineering business for 8 years. I am so very blessed to have been working as Party Chief and Field Supervisor at Innerlight Engineering for 2 years now. My duties include managing the day to day tasks given to myself and the field crew to complete. These tasks include conducting field work for boundaries, topos, stakeouts, GPS, wetland locations, etc... I also communicate with contractors and clients to coordinate current job requirements and preferences. I deal closely with construction plans and have to take field notes on a daily basis to document the days work.I have worked very closely with Trimble instruments including, currently operating the S6 robotic instrument and TSC3 data collector on a daily basis. We also have a real time kinetic GPS that is used for various observations. We use it to get initial control networks established as well as using it for real time topographic information and data collection.I have had the opportunity over my 8 years in this field to work closely with some outstanding people. I could not ask for a better team of individuals I would want to work with as the ones I have the pleasure of working with today.
