My career has been focused on energy efficiency in both existing and new construction. I have been involved in numerous energy audits with a large emphasis on O&M improvements that were focused on energy efficiency and reduction of labor for the maintenance staff. I work directly with Mike Hatten (Principal of Solarc) on numerous O&M projects for hospitals, high-rise office buildings and schools. My experience and understanding of O&M opportunities in buildings, has continued to grow, allowing me to understand improvements, and apply that knowledge in a variety of facility types.My other specialty revolves around Energy Modeling using eQuest/DOE2 software. I have modeled for a variety of building types for LEED certification and utility incentives. I have been involved in modeling one of the largest hospitals on Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) campus as well as a new high performance science center for Gonzaga University. My other modeling projects include performing arts centers, sports arenas, high rise office buildings, higher education and K-12 schools.
